About the event
Location:Â
Central Connecticut region. Register or message us for specific location details.
Description:
As a mindfulness practice, Forest Bathing can provide LGBTQAI+ folks a refuge to connect authentically with nature and themselves. The forest -- with its vast web of interconnected organisms -- can teach us a lot about how to embrace what makes us unique and affirm the importance of building resilient and nurturing communities.
We plan to travel slowly along approximately two miles of relatively flat dirt, gravel, and paved trails. And, as we move together, you'll be guided through a variety of mindfulness practices and sensory awareness activities designed to deepen your connection with nature. Our journey together culminates in a closing ceremony, where participants will be invited to share their reflections.
Pricing & Fundraising:
You'll have three ticket options:Â
- Option 1: $15.00, with $7.50 donated
- Option 2: $20.00, with $12.50 donated
- Option 3: $30.00, with $22.50 donatedÂ
The total amount we raise will be announced the day of the event. And you can follow these links to learn more about Trans Lifeline and the Trans Youth Equality Foundation.
