Forest Bathing
"Around me the trees stir in their leaves and call out, 'Stay awhile.'" - Mary Oliver, Evidence: Poems
For millions of years, humans evolved within the natural world. Our bodies and minds are designed to work in concert with our ecosystem, but the stress of modern society and increased urbanization prevent many of us from having meaningful connections with nature. Forest Bathing is a wellness practice designed to open our senses, deepen our connection with nature, and help return our minds and bodies to a natural state of equanimity.

Guided Forest Bathing
We offer regular Forest Bathing walks in CT, MA, and RI. These group walks are led by one or two trained guides who use mindfulness exercises, sensory and somatic awareness activities, and the creative arts to facilitate meaningful exploration and connection with the forest.

Engaged Ecology Adventures
We also help organize seasonal nature immersion outings that combine Forest Bathing, mindful movement practices (like qigong), and ecological education. These excursions are designed to strengthen our awareness of our local ecosystems, as well as our investment in protecting them.

Nature Therapy Consultation
Sometimes called "Green Prescribing," we partner with healthcare practitioners and other wellness professionals to create client-specific Nature Therapy plans. This involves a consultation meeting, developing a nature-based wellbeing plan, and offering ongoing coaching.
